Yoga is a detailed practice designed to give the practitioner mastery over the thoughts of the mind as outlined by the Yoga Sutras. The core of the Sutras consists of an eight-limbed system (Ashtanga) for living a balanced, peaceful, and blissful life in harmony with the whole of
creation. This system provides guidance through universal and personal morals, physical postures and breath-work, focus and concentration, and finally meditation, devotion, and enlightenment (Samadhi).
