FLOAT Inversions and Arm Balances Workshop

In this workshop we’ll begin by warming the body and focusing the mind with a vinyasa sequence designed to bring attention to proper alignment and awareness to body structures used in inversions and arm balances.

We will break down some variations of the most essential and important yoga postures- like headstand and shoulderstand, as well as some of the most exciting and invigorating- like forearm balances, handstands, and crow.

Building confidence in these poses requires a proper understanding of anatomy, body mechanics for each specific pose, and keen self-awareness.

This intensive will help you understand these aspects of the poses, so you can safely and gracefully build them into your regular practice and continually advance in them at your own pace. You will also learn some basic conditioning techniques to prime your body for flight.
